Veritas Tutors, an educational consulting ?rm in Cambridge MA, is seeking a dynamic, engaging, and experienced college- and graduate-level computer science tutor. Pay will be competitive, $45 or more per hour based on experience.

Many of our subject instructors are graduate students or have PhD's in their fields of instruction. Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of each student’s individual strengths, study habits, workload, and needs;
  • Craft and implement individualized plans of study;
  • Provide clear and engaging instruction;
  • Design appropriate and innovative homework assignments;
  • Track and communicate progress to students;
  • Handle scheduling and logistics for each tutoring session.

Requirements

  • a strong background in computer science and/or programming
  • prior tutoring or teaching experience
  • general availability during the coming year (but we always work with your schedule)
