The Engineering Department of Dialogic in Hyannis will be hiring entry level candidates with a Bachelor or Master degree in EE, CS or CPE to fill multiple software engineering positions. The Engineering Department has been located in Hyannis for over 15 years and is responsible for developing high availability, carrier grade telecommunications products including:

We are searching for candidates who work well in a team environment, are motivated to succeed and have confidence in their ability to learn.

There are opportunities in the following areas:

  1. Host Team: This team provides a GUI interface that controls Dialogic’s telecommunications switch from a Linux or Windows PC and a development environment for customers to build custom applications. Knowledge of Java and C++, object oriented design and database theory a plus.
  2. Switch Team – Protocols: This team provides signaling protocols for traditional TDM switches (such as ISDN/SS7/CAS) and for emerging IP environments (such as SIP/H323/H248). Knowledge of C programming and any telecommunications protocols a plus.
  3. Switch Team – Infrastructure and Hardware Support: This team will work on code to support hardware like CPUs, memory, Ethernet switches, VoIP processors, TDM switches and framers, general-purpose DSP devices, HDLC devices, etc. Knowledge of C programming, embedded operating environments, preferably VxWorks, database theory and object-oriented design processes a plus.
  4. System Test: This team is involved in the development process from functional specification through release, focusing on integration and system testing. This team is also responsible for test automation and internal tool development. Knowledge of IP networking, Linux environments, scripting languages (Perl, Shell scripts, VB script) a plus.
