I have designed this page as both an informational hub regarding my professional development and as an experiment with web design and other web-related matters. I plan on offering more content in the future as my education and technical aspirations progress. The tone of my writing here is somewhat relaxed; after all, I don't want to be too serious.
The current page style is presented through three different kinds of grays. I personally enjoy the contrasts created by this extremely neutral color palette; however, the choice is also a practical decision, as I was learning when I designed this site and have chosen to emphasize layout technique over design. The goal was to create a sharp, orderly, and browser-independent website. Unfortunately, the layout is not exactly the same for each browser. I can't seem to iron out the few remaining wrinkles in the CSS. Still, I'm happy with the result, for now.
I've coded all HTML and CSS on this site in Notepad++, excepting a few ideas I found on the web. I have attributed whatever code I've used from other people where they occur in the source.
Update: I've corrected several grammatical and content errors. I used both Aptana Studio and Microsoft Expression Web 2.0. I'm currently favoring the Microsoft product; it provides a nice mix between a text editor and WYSIWYG. (December 2008)
Have a look at the stylesheet, which manages my site's layout, if you are interested in the nitty gritty (or want to offer corrections/suggestions).
