Deutsche Welle live radio

You can listen to DW's broadcast using RealPlayer. You will, of course, also find a complete program listing here, organized by categories of interest.

[o]Nordamerikanische Wochen-Post (in German and English)

The Web offers plenty of sources for keeping up with German events, yet I am hard pressed to give up my subscription to this American weekly. As one would expect the paper offers something for everyone, including comprehensive coverage of sports and the economy. Every so often the paper includes an English language supplement with interesting historical tidbits that are typically hard to come by otherwise.

[Soccer stadium]Comprehensive News on Soccer on US TV (in English)

For those of you who miss watching soccer check out this site! It is the most comprehensive and up-to-date listing of soccer game broadcasts on US TV. It spells the end of having to comb through your TV guide!

Stern Magazin (in German)

Stern magazine is one of the established weekly magazines. The magazine has had it up's and down's. The Stern's Web site is very rich and comprehensive in content, offering more than just its magazine on the Web.

[Spiegel logo] Der Spiegel (in German)

One of Germany's leading weekly magazines, Der Spiegel offers critical news reporting on national and international events in politics, economy, science, culture, society and sports, along with articles on daily news events. There are also online-fora for discussions of selected issues. If you miss those German discussions over the dinner that tend to last well into the night, than this is the place to be!
