Do get the errata.
- That book is the first in a two volume sequence. I may also
want to use parts of the second volume:
Foundations of Combinatorics with Applications
, by the same authors
(ISBN: 0486446034).
It too is available
free.
Dover sells
it for $22.95.
- Think about getting th $10
Schaum's Easy Outline of Discrete Mathematics - it can't hurt.
- The text for this course
used to be
Kenneth Rosen's
Discrete Mathematics and Its Applications.
McGraw-Hill Science/Engineering/Math; 5th Pkg edition
ISBN: 0072424346
That book is expensive and the author regularly brings out a new
edition so that the old ones can't be recycled. But introductory
discrete mathematics doesn't change much. The classic inexpensive
Dover books above will serve us just fine.
