== Biography

I was born in the south Indian city of [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chennai 
Madras] and grew up in [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bombay Bombay]. I 
received primary and secondary education from 
[http://www.modelenglishschool.com Model English School] 
and higher secondary education from [http://www.ruparel.edu/index.php D.G. 
Ruparel College]. I got my bachelor's degree in electronics and 
telecommunication from [http://www.vesit.edu VESIT], Bombay, India in 1996 
after which I worked for a couple of years as a software developer. I received 
my master's degree in computer science 
from [http://www.umb.edu University of Massachusetts at Boston] in 2001 
following which I worked again as a software developer until 2006. I have 
since been a full-time student at the University of Massachusetts at Boston, 
pursuing a doctoral degree in computer science. After graduating with a PhD, 
my goal is to pursue an academic career with both teaching and research 
responsibilities.
