Hi ,

       Welcome to my homepage. I am Vasudev Gadge, a Graduate Student in Computer Science Department @ UMass Boston. This is my third semester at UMASS Boston.

I am from Mumbai, India . I recieved my Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Mumbai University, India. Before coming to USA, I worked in Bristlecone Private Limited as a SAP Basis Consultant. Currently, I am working for College of Nursing and Health Sciences as a Graduate Assistant. I help them to maintain their website and database.

       My interest in applied science dates back to my school days. During high school, I was fascinated with electronic gadgets. Soon thereafter, designing and building basic circuits started as a hobby. Along the way, however, I realized that the problem-solving aspect of making electronic gadgets was what I enjoyed the most. Engineering was a natural career choice after this. My performance in the high school graduation examination was excellent and consequently I was in a position to choose the field of my interest. As a natural consequence, I chose to take up Bachelor of Electronics Engineering Course.

       One of the best things I liked about Mumbai University is Technical Festivals which being organized on inter-collegiate as well as University level. I have always enjoyed being a part of such festivals. I was one of the six core committee members (each member represents his department) for the inter-collegiate technical festival “VECTORS-2007”. The festival was one of the best event held during academic year 2006-2007.
