[MassHistPres] Massachusetts DCR Historic Curatorship Program Lease Request for Proposals

The MA Department of Conservation and Recreation is soliciting proposals to lease a historic property on the Furnace Brook Parkway in Quincy (#1198) in exchange for preserving, reusing, and maintaining the building and property. This solicitation is through the DCR's Historic Curatorship Program, which is a program dating back to the mid-1990s that has successfully preserved more than twenty significant DCR buildings throughout the Commonwealth. Through the program, Curators/lessees exchange private investment in vacant and vulnerable historically significant buildings in exchange for a long-term lease. Also at this link are additional properties for which the DCR is inviting expressions of interest. DCR has not made an official decision about soliciting proposals for these properties but knowing about potential interest is valuable to the DCR.
