[MassHistPres] Period appropriate house colors

New construction in Historic District. Most structures from early 1700s to late 1800s. Architect presenting exterior materials soon. Suggesting a blue color with light trim. Anyone familiar with resources that can suggest what the house colors might have been. In rural SE MA, not Boston. Houses in the area mostly white, cream clapboard , grey or brown shingles, and  brick.
