Mentoring night at the museum of science
When: 03:30PM - 09:00PM , November 13, 2018
The Museum of Science is partnering with CSM to recruit undergraduate women to participate in a unique professional development and mentoring opportunity. The event is scheduled at the Museum on Tuesday, November 13th, with registration beginning at 3:30 p.m. and the program running 4:00 to 9:00 p.m.
As a part of the Museum’s Women and Girls in STEM 3.0 Month the MOS will host a panel discussion featuring female leaders in STEM, to explore the breadth of ways in which they have utilized their STEM passions. The panel will be followed by a networking reception focused on providing real-world, tactical skills for students seeking careers in STEM. The reception will provide the opportunity for students to engage in a multifaceted discussion with over 50 women who are top professionals in their fields.
Students of any socioeconomic background, ability, religion, sexual orientation, and race are encouraged to participate. Transwomen who identify as part of minority groups are also encouraged to participate.
Space is limited, so if you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, use the registration link below.
