Last class. We built the final exam.
There should be no surprises. 6-8 questions involving
- Estimation, common sense (Fermi problems)
- Linear and exponential growth (with and without Excel)
- Averages (mode. median and mean) for grouped data, histograms in Excel
- Probability, contingency tables and false positives
- Unit calculations
- Percentages
The exam is three hours long. I will try to write an exam that can be done in two.
Spend time where you know what you’re doing – if may make sense to skip some questions completely. Write complete sentences (paragraphs) that explain what you’re thinking.
