The following selection of quotes are from Paintlet and Paintlet for Kids users.
It's a clear, clean and coherent interface and quite easy to use.
I hope you develop it into a more comphrensive graphic app.
I'd be very interested in any new developments for paintlet.
It's a beauty!
I found paintlet when I was browsing and decided to download it
because it sounded like it could do more than ms paint!
I stumbled on the program. After installing the JRE I killed some
free time by looking for interesting Java applications. This one
looks like a keeper!
I absolutely love the programme so far - you must be a genius to write
something like that! What really convinced me to try it was when I saw
that the images on your site were created with it. Also, liked the
aviation galleries. I worked 12yrs with British Airways, 2yrs with
USAirways, and my wife flies for Delta! Take care, and again thanks for a
wonderful programme.
I saw your program on the net. I like Graphics Java and new ideas.
I am the lead content manager for a new Java Community
called...I would like your approval that would allow us to link to your
page..
I got paintlet to enhance photos and to create a web page, for
this I will use it for a number of tasks including drawing and transparent
overlays.
i found your program browsing software sites using
E-tour.com
frankly this is more that i expected!
its different from programs(apps) i use.
good for everything around graphics.
I've just started supervising 5 people around the country to work on ocean
conservation issues, and each of them will have a local web
page for their work, so I figured I'd learn something about the basics of
web design by messing around with a personal web page. Thanks for sharing
this app.
I'd like to register Paintlet because I want to use more Java applications
and become familiar with its capabilities. I'm a computer engineering
student at Washington State University. It looks great so far - thanks!
My daughter loves paintletk, especially since she can actually save her own
drawings in her own program (instead of having them get lost in mine) I was
amazed at how much you crammed into that little zip file so I naturally HAD
to try paintlet. It looks pretty amazing! and I need a registration number
for that now too. Why is this freeware? You should be selling it! I am an
artist and I like to make digital art when the physicality of paint, pencil
and paper gets to me. I plan to have alot of fun with paintlet.
By the way, I found your site on Google, just looking for kids' stuff on a
rainy day and keeping in the back of my mind graphics programs for myself. I
liked your write up and description.
(installation) was seamless. I just followed you instructions to run it from
the start menu using the browse feature (which I love because I often forget
where I've stashed things... I really should be more organized) Certainly,
the two files confused me for paintletk because I couldn't figure out how I
could ever get a program to run from a file that was begging me to open it
using wordpad, or notepad or whatever else. But once I downloaded java and
went through the aforementioned run process, your title box popped up
automatically. It was REALLY EASY.
Thank you for the registration number for paintlet. Ihave been playing
around with it as much as possible without the registration number and I
really like what I see. I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of it.
It sounds very promising what you wrote in the other email about the
intuitiveness that you wanted to happen with paintlet. I think that there
are plenty of programs out there that are more computer/graphics related, I
for one have paint shop pro and adobe photoshop, but I tend to use i photo
plus because it works more like an art program. You just work with your
tools the same way you'd work with a real paint brush. I think that many
artists tend to stay away from digital art because of the "heavy dutiness"
of some of the software out there. I had a nightmare of a time trying to get
a Wacom graphics tablet last week because nobody seemed to know what it was
really. That includes the main computer stores in a large city an hour away
from me. The art supply stores were helpless too, that was a major shocker
for me. I ended up getting an Wacom Intuos from ebay.
I will let you know how I manage with paintlet. I like the cool little
squares that you can drag around to make lines etc. We also have the
freeware version of "Child's Play" by Alston software labs. It too has that
feature but 1) it is is a child's program 2) the full version would cost me
an arm and a leg for what I'd get.3) you cannot save anything you do so my
daughter refuses to create anything resembling a masterpiece on it. She has
already saved two drawings by herself in paintletk. She is in kindergarten-
that shows the intuitiveness in paintletk!
I found Paintlet through www.reallybig.com.
I've been trying to play with making my own 3D fonts, and hoping Paintlet
will help me.
I sent an email to email.com to get the reg. code for V1.0. I also
downloaded V1.11 and wasn't sure if the reg. codes worked across versions. I
want to play with both. I'm not sure where I got the first one. I think some
Java site. These are big improvements over conventional Win32 Graphics
programs. Use: Web Page and general graphics fun.
I like your program.
I am seeking a graphics program that is simple to use and
relatively easy to learn. I wish to try yours.
Found you in a search for IMAGING. Wanting to build a web page and
was looking for more control.
Thank you!!!!
If you get over, Joe, (Ireland) give me a ring. Always glad to meet generous
people like yourself. Forgot to say, quite simply, thanks.
I found out about paintlet at either tucows or dave central they are the top
spot for finding java apps. I am just getting into java and am interested in
anything that has to do with java programming. a registration number would be
greatly appreciated.
I am a 72 year old new computer user. I learned how to download free stuff,
play with it for a while then get rid of it. I have never found anything
very useful to keep for any length of time. The other day I found your
paintlet program and it took me a long time to find out how to install it
but I finally succeeded. If I learn how to use the program properly it
should keep me busy for many hours. I used to paint landscapes and I also
have designed homes. I was looking for free stuff when I found your paintlet
program on the freewarehome.com web site and I thought I would try it.
Well, enough for now and I will try to see what I can learn.

Japanese word edition. I think that it wants to attempt to use if there is
a Japanese word edition but will there are not a plan which lets out the
soft ware of the Japanese word edition?

pupils in the school. I need free registration number.

I found your program through net.works support page, and will be using the
program for fun, and to build a webpage. I chose Paintlet as it seems to
offer everything I need, and hopefully it is simple to use, as I am a
complete novice.
I was surfing the web at home when
and trying to find a paint program
for my two grandchildren, ages 6 and
3, when I decided to try your site.
I downloaded BOTH Paintlet for my
daughter and me and PaintletK for
my grandkids. May I have registration
information for Paintlet and PaintletK?
Thanks for your help in this matter!
I am sending this email for the registration number. My children who will be
using the program are 5 and 6. I will also fool around with it some. Both of
my girls use the paint program that comes with win98, and they enjoy it a
great deal. I thought that maybe with this program they could learn a little
bit and maybe make some cool stuff to display on their webpage.
Please send me a registration number for your
outstanding software : Paintlet for Kids.

I found paintlet at feewarehome.com. The description said it was
easy to use, and I have been looking for a program like this. Besides
the fact that it was a small download, I also like that it was written
in Java.
I try and downloaded the paintlet jar and i need to register to do it.
The reason i did it is because i wanted to expermint and have fun. Could
you please send me a number and what to do?
Hello from New Zealand.
Thank you for the opportunity to use your program.
i was looking for another graphics program at mediahorizon
freeware, and saw the screenshot of paintlet and liked what i saw. so i
downloaded it and installed.
I heard (saw) about Paintlet while I was just surfing (on a
Kids-Page)
Generally I like to try new Graphic Progs - but mostly I love to
draw,any kind and style.
I wanted to try paintlet because it looks to be a multiplatform paint
program that I can suggest others use, and they can use it for free.
And java is just cool anyway, but I'm having trouble finding the fill
button...
ps - Really neat sites you have, I liked your gallery area on your home
page also.

my own web pages and understanding something about working with professional
web page designers.
I got to your site via DaveCentral, where I'd searched for free kid's

making these programs and for giving them as freeware.
Hello, I have downloaded Paintlet, and would like to register it.
I heard about it through Dave Central, while looking for something entirely
different! I plan to just use it for fun. I enjoy making things for desktop
wallpapers...and messing with my pics. Nothing I ever sell or place on a
website. But if I use something I create with Paintlet on a website, I
will definitely mention it, and give a link!
I did not hear of this particular program. I was in search of a nicer paint
program and searched through Yahoo.ca. I chose your sight based on the
description offered in the search.

more of whats out there and it is also a hobby so far i am enjoying the
