_ Matthew Schneps
Research Professor
I am a Research Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Massachusetts Boston. I also have affiliations with MIT and work with the Education Arcade, and the Gab Lab there. My work focuses on educational neuroscience, the intersection between neuroscience and teaching and learning in colleges and schools. I especially focus on learning disabilities and neurological differences such as dyslexia, ADHD, and autism spectrum disorders. One of my interests is how technology can be used to help people with various tasks they may find difficult, such as reading, mathematics, organization, etc. I do work with students from time to time and enjoy collaborating, so please don’t hesitate to email me if you have interest in this area.

Research interests: cognitive psychology, educational technology, and assistive technologies to support people with dyslexia, ADHD, and other neurological differences affecting visual perception.
