The Marvin Machine Simulator is a browser-based simulator for Marvin, a hypothetical 32-bit computer with 16 registers, 64 KB of memory, and 72 instructions. Write a program in the editor, assemble it, then run it to completion or step through it one instruction at a time while watching the CPU registers, memory (Text / Heap / Stack), and a standard input / standard output console. It runs entirely in your browser — no server, no installation. See the DOCS page for the machine description and a guide to writing Marvin programs.
This simulator is based on marvin.py, the Python-based command-line version of the Marvin emulator implemented by Martin Scheele (github.com/martin-scheele/marvin).
The browser version was implemented by AI.
Both versions were conceived, and their development directed, by Swami Iyer (cs.umb.edu/~siyer).
