Identification:
Small, no red-brown in the borders above, black postdiscal bar large, white subapical bar of forewing strong and covers vein M2.

Wingspan: 45 mm

Forewing length: 23 mm

Horizontal bars = 1 cm

Local distribution: Not yet found in our area. Occurs in the Atlantic lowlands to the south from 50-600 m (La Selva Biological Station, Braulio Carillo National Park).

Similar species: Ithomia patilla, Ithomia diasa, Oleria paula, Hypoleria cassotis

Species range: Costa Rica and Panama

Abundance: Not yet recorded
