About
The evolution of computer technology is generally agreed to begin with Dedekind and Cantor in the late 1800s, who laid the foundational work for the concept of computer programs with their academic work on infinity and infinite sets. The theoretical infinity of computer programs also corresponds to the infinity of technological innovations and human interactions with them. From these foundational tenets, technology has only progressed, from adders and the ENIAC in the 1930s and 40s to the AI renaissance seen in the 2020s.
