In this seminar, I will present recent research from my group at the intersection of artificial intelligence, biomedical imaging, computer vision, and scientific visualization. I will highlight the research behind two Bits-to-Bytes awards, which provide funding for creating and sharing open datasets, as well as other funded research projects totaling approximately $3 million. Along the way, I will share insights into research funding, interdisciplinary collaborations, and anecdotes from successful and unsuccessful proposals. The ultimate goal is to make our department richer!
