Syllabus
Presentation date: Tuesday 4/10 (for the first presentations) and Thursday 4/12 (for remaining presentations)
- Order of presentation is random, decided by me at the beginning of class.
- Your presentation assignment has been sent to you via email
- Each student has 20 minutes to present. The number of slides must be fixed at 15.
- Pretend that you are the professor and need to introduce the assigned topic to the class. Make nice slides, understand the topic well.
- Structure of your presentation
- Statement of the problem
- Motivation for the problem
- Application(s) for the problem
- Proposed solution
- Numerical Results (if any)
- Your feedback (what you would do next if you were the author of the paper, your vision for the next 5 years related to the topic of the paper)
